The New York Giants are in Germany for their Week 10 game against the Carolina Panthers, with both teams having disappointing campaigns thus far. At 2-7, expectations for these teams are pretty low for the rest of the season, and it would take a miracle for either to make the playoffs.
That said, their players are still useful in fantasy football, so let’s take a look at the Giants’ weapons ahead of NFL Germany in Week 10:
Giants’ Week 10 Fantasy Outlooks
QB: Daniel Jones
Daniel Jones is not the most popular QB in the NFL, with many calling him out on a regular basis. Jones often seems to lack that bit of luck or nous that separates him from elite QBs of his athleticism and type, but his rushing skills can make him very useful in fantasy.
In Week 9, Jones broke an unwanted streak of 0 passing TDs at MetLife Stadium since January 1, 2023. He threw for 2 TDs, rushed for 1 and scored a season-high 24.36 fantasy points in the process. Jones’ low floor gives fantasy managers pause but against a vulnerable Carolina Panthers, he is a good start and a good streaming option in Week 10.
Daniel Jones’ points range: 6-25; Prediction: 17.5
RBs: Tyrone Tracy Jr. & Devin Singletary
Tyrone Tracy Jr. has wrestled the starting role from Devin Singletary since the latter went down with an injury and has looked explosive in 2024. Tracy is a must-start in Week 10 against Carolina and could hit a very high score given his breakaway speed.
Tracy didn’t have the best day against Washington last week, but the game script was not in his favor. With no disrespect intended to the Panthers, they are on a different trajectory in 2024 to the Commanders, and this could be a big day for RBs on both teams.
Devin Singletary also could have good value in this matchup, as Carolina is 32nd against RBs in fantasy, averaging 31.42 fantasy points per game to the position in HPPR leagues. If you are desperate at RB, you could do a lot worse than taking a chance on Singletary, who may be available as a free agent (56.8% rostered).
Tyrone Tracy Jr.’s points range: 6-25; Prediction: 15
Devin Singletary’s points range: 4-14; Prediction: 7
WRs: Malik Nabers & Wan’Dale Robinson
The Giants may not have thrown a huge number of TDs in 2024 but they are utilizing multiple WRs to a decent level. Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton and Wan’Dale Robinson have all been fantasy-relevant in 2024, and with Slayton out for Week 10, Robinson and Nabers could benefit.
Nabers is the obvious diamond in the Giants offense this season, with the rookie looking to be a hugely exciting long-term prospect. Nabers is a must-start here, given how frequently Daniel Jones looks to him, and Robinson has flex/WR2 value.
Malik Nabers’ points range: 6-25; Prediction: 17
Wan’Dale Robinson’s points range: 5-18; Prediction: 10
TE: Theo Johnson
While tight end is a notoriously difficult position to navigate every week for most fantasy football managers, the Giants don’t look to Theo Johnson enough to warrant taking a chance on him here.
Johnson is coming off his best week of the season, having put up 51 yards and a TD for 12.60 points (HPPR), but his floor is dangerously low. There are likely better options out there in Week 10.
Theo Johnson’s points range: 1-13; Prediction: 4
