The Dallas Cowboys offense was a force in fantasy football last season, and CeeDee Lamb was a major part of that. Lamb was the WR1 for the campaign in every fantasy league format and has seen his draft stock rise accordingly. This raises the question of whether he can do it again in 2024, and the consensus is that he is worth taking a risk on.

Fantasy Pros have CeeDee Lamb as the WR1 in 2024 and the No. 2 pick in fantasy drafts. Behind only Christian McCaffrey in ADP, Lamb’s numbers in 2023 are unignorable. With questions hanging over Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings QB room, if you are up at No. 2, your hands are almost tied and not taking Lamb will be a major talking point in your league. If Lamb falls any further than second overall, he should be taken immediately.

CeeDee Lamb’s 2024 NFL fantasy outlook: What numbers to expect from the Cowboys WR?

CeeDee Lamb put up incredible numbers in 2023, finishing the season with 135 receptions for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns, as well as 2 TDs on the ground. The issue for fantasy managers is whether it is realistic to expect this to happen again, and while it is certainly worth the gamble at No. 2 in the draft, it probably isn’t.

Lamb has seen his targets, receptions, yards and TDs all increase on a yearly basis since he entered the league in 2020, but 2023 might have been his apotheosis. If Lamb can stay healthy, expect a huge season, and while he might top last season’s numbers, it’s a big ask. A baseline of 1,400 yards and 10 TDs seems a reasonable expectation, and this would still be well worth the second pick in the draft.
