It’s Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season and the quarterback position has been a headache for many in fantasy football. With names like Tua Tagovailoa and Jordan Love injured, and Anthony Richardson’s form and next opponent a concern (Steelers), it’s time for many to stream a quarterback.

Let’s take a look at three QBs who might be available on waivers that you can plug in this week:

The stats don’t lie and at this point, it is time to stop sleeping on the Minnesota Vikings. This offense was meant to stall without Kirk Cousins and T.J. Hockenson (PUP) but has been running hot, and the Vikings are arguably the most disrespected 3-0 team in the NFL.

The offensive play has been mostly clean, dynamic and explosive and QB Sam Darnold has picked up where Cousins left off before his injury. Darnold is the fantasy QB4 after three weeks, with 657 yards, 8 TDs and 2 INTs to his name.

Yes, the Vikings face yet another tough test in Week 4, away to the Green Bay Packers, but they have beaten the Giants, 49ers and Texans to get to 3-0. Regardless of whether they win or not, Darnold is well worth picking up if you are in QB trouble.

Another disrespected QB in a disrespected team is New York Giants QB Daniel Jones. Jones has built good chemistry with uber-talented rookie WR Malik Nabers and the offense looks much more promising as a result.

The Giants QB had a very rough Week 1, scoring only 4.94 fantasy points against the Vikings, but has bounced back nicely with back-to-back good performances (18.32 pts, 21.44 pts). Jones has thrown for 600, 4 TDs and 2 INTs this season, adding a further 67 yards on 19 rushing attempts.

Given his improvement and willingness to run the ball, you could do a lot worse against a Cowboys defense that has been very leaky this season.

Malik Willis has done a good job filling in for Jordan Love at the Green Bay Packers and really started to show some confidence in his revenge-tour, 30-14 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Willis threw for 202 yards and a TD in the win, adding another 73 yards and another TD on the ground. This was good for 25.38 points in fantasy football. Willis’ speed and agility, combined with a well-balanced (and well-coached) offense, make him a very intriguing option in fantasy football, regardless of the opponent.

The only concern is that Jordan Love might come back from injury this week, but that feels unlikely. Love has an MCL sprain and the Packers are unlikely to rush him back when Willis is playing solid football and the team stands at 2-1. There is no update from the Packers on Love’s injury at the time of writing, which doesn’t give us much to go on either way.
